Osaka Castle is an exquisite landmark within Osaka. The landmark is the most renown within Osaka and acts as a major symbol. The landmark is located within an approximate one kilometre of land and has an elegant moat surrounding the premises. This astonishing landmark has an intricate history as it had been created in the year 1583. It had originally been created to protect and defend from attackers while simultaneously indicating the prestige and wealth of emperor Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Osaka Castle hadn't retained its current majestic state from its creation date. Sections had been obliterated by infiltrators, but repaired in later dates. Many artefacts and other valuable resources had been attained from Osaka Castle for further research into the past and the wonders of the attraction. Serenity and captivating are two words that acutely capture the essence of this ancient structure because the landmark contains a vast quantity of flora which are sure to mesmerise visitors.
Dotonbori is one of most visited attractions by tourists. This gargantuan city contains a plethora of restaurants that serve palatable cuisine, accompanied with exhilarating amusement areas. The city has retained traditional aspects, therefore many theatres, puppet shows and storytellers are scattered over the location. Neon lights are placed over the proximity of the city, which are followed by large bill boards that illuminate large sections of the area. These factors help to make the city safer because there would be an increase of people at night along with an increase of visibility. Dotonbori's popularity is due to many factors, mainly the landmarks that it contains within. One of the internal landmarks include a colossal temple which is sure to transfix visitors. The Hozen-ji Temple had been created in the seventeenth century and is lined by orange lanterns that illuminate at night. The temple has an array of exotic and unique shops surrounding the perimeter. These two factors are evocative of the Edo Period, thus attracting a large amount of historians and tourists.
Tsutenkaku is an immense tower attracting many tourists into Osaka. The immense tower had been built in 1912 and with the name meaning 'building leading to heaven' it reached a height of 64 metres. This symbolic tower had been constructed to represent Shin-sekai (a new world) and does a successful job at enthralling over 700 000 visitors annually. Tsutenkaku had been dismantled after a devastation of a fire, however it had been re-established due to a tremendous request from citizens. The renewed version of Tsutenkaku had been enhanced and increased to a height of 103 metres. The extravagant tower houses an abundance of entertainment stalls with a breath-taking view at the pinnacle of the tower. Neon lights are existent at the apex of the tower along with a weather forecast display, while at the basement there are traditional shows and theatres. These family attracting attributes may influence each other and form the popularity of this landmark.
